We were invited by the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) AP to attend a discussion on emerging investment interests from Adani Group.
What We Presented
We showed how Smart Bhujal and GeoPilot could support the Adani Energy and Natural Resources divisions through geospatial intelligence and natural resource analytics.
The presentation covered four areas:
- Site selection: using satellite-derived terrain, soil and land use data to compare potential project locations
- Groundwater risk assessment: estimating water table depth, aquifer type and sustainability from satellite and well data
- Infrastructure planning: geospatial analysis for pipeline routing, access roads and utility corridors
- Data-driven decisions: bringing remote sensing, modelling and machine learning into one decision support system for large energy and sustainability projects
About RTIH
The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub at IIT Tirupati supports innovation and entrepreneurship, connecting startups with industry and investors. This discussion was part of its work bridging deep-tech startups and large industrial deployment. Smart Bhujal is incubated at IIT Tirupati.
Acknowledgments
Thanks to Veerendra Sai and the Institution's Innovation Council at IIT Tirupati for organizing this opportunity, and to the RTIH team for facilitating the connection with Adani Group.
Discussions like these test whether decision support systems hold up in energy and natural resource management, which is the kind of impact we are building toward.
